  • Description: Reportage about Army Day During the spectacular Army Day, soldiers in sportswear show their stuff in a stadium. Marching, hurdles, tug of war, and equestrian events are on the programme. There is also a flight demonstration, a fox hunt for motorcyclists, and an agility competition for truck drivers. An intertitle reports that there are more than ten thousand visitors, including an exuberant group of orphan boys. Queen Wilhelmina awards the prizes, and General C.J. Snijders pays tribute to all the participants.
